I’ve been painting in my spare time for a couple of years and have no formal training. I like that it allows me to feel some freedom over a landscape, scene or moment in time that I might not have in real life.

I’m a keen surfer/kayaker/hiker/outdoorsy-type-person and I think these interests complement my art by allowing me to get to some different places and see some interesting perspectives.

Most of my works are abstract landscapes but I enjoy experimenting with different styles and subjects including portraits and small sculptures.
