My name is Peter Newton and I have been painting landscapes / seascapes in which time explored watercolour, pastels, oils and acrylics for over 20 years .I have had 8 Solo Art Exhibitions at Geelong, Melbourne and Sydney.Exhibited @theotherartfair at Kensington ( Melbourne May 2019), and Barangaroo and The Rocks Sydney October 2019).
Locally I have participated at Bellarine Arts Trail 2016, 2017, 2018, 2023 & 2024, and greatly enjoyed participating in a joint art exhibition at Sequel Gallery in Geelong in February 2024.

Presently my “underwater series“, is derived from several dives up on The Great Barrier Reef.

This is my interpretation on canvas describing colour, texture and movement of this delicate underwater environment.
