“Living in Geelong, I work from my home studio mainly in watercolour but sometimes inks, printmaking, acrylics and oils.
I attended occasional classes with the watercolourist Jan McNeill and printmaker Laura Osborne in the late 1980’s to early 1990’s but have been largely self taught since then.
My muse is the continually amazing natural world around me. I endeavour to create a narrative of sorts, weaving a story through the chosen subject eg. tulips and the Dutch 1600’s or my own garden through the seasons. I hope to encourage the viewer into my imagination through pathways of colour and detail and would like to think I may foster, in a small way, their better appreciation of our beautiful world.”
